On Thursday evening Nathan had his first T-Ball game and it was quite entertaining, but so adorable to say the least. He looked so cute in his Red Angels uniform, like a true ball player. He had quite the crowd cheering for him; Grandma, Grandma & Grandpa Baca, Auntie, Uncle TJ, Rhowan, Mommy, Alexa and... Daddy out on the field helping, he couldn't have been more excited and so were we! He was able to play short stop and catcher and did very well grounding balls, however when it came to his at bat and running the bases he decided he wanted to play offense and defense at the same time. He hit and got on 1st base, when the next batter hit the ball out, instead of running to 2nd base he went after the ball along with the other team. THIS WAS HILARIOUS!! He finally realized after everyone was yelling "run to 2nd" what he was supposed to be doing. I guess Uncle TJ is going to have his work cut out for him!! LOL It is just too comical seeing these precious little 4 year old boys learning the game of baseball and I was such a proud mommy watching him. Unfortunately Nathan and his best buddy Jake (Amy's son) were unable to be on the same team because of their birth dates but they got to share high fives before the game and cupcakes after along with some pictures in their team uniforms. I will post those soon..too adorable! We are so excited for the games to come and appreciate our family who was there to see his first big game!! Stay posted for pics to come shortly. I look forward to hearing from all of you soon!!
Lots of Love from our family to yours xoxoxo,
Nichole
Yes this was quite entertaining! It is so fun but sad to see him growing so fast! Now just imagine the girls getting into sports, dance, cheer and how that will be...Rhowan bossing Lexi around and being the pre madonna of the team! LOL.
